El movimiento y la inmediatez ahora forman parte de lo cotidiano, donde hemos pasado de esperar semanas o incluso meses para escuchar noticias de alguien lejano a poder leer sobre ellos en menos de un segundo a través del correo electrónico o un simple mensaje de teléfono móvil.
Las nuevas tecnologías han enfriado a las personas. Se ha perdido el calor y la emoción que provoca la espera de recibir noticias de los seres queridos a través de una carta o una postal.
Nos movemos y nos perdemos en esa inmediatez, dejando atrás las viejas costumbres y olvidando que tal vez en ellas podamos encontrar esa emoción que nos hará el día.
Este movimiento cargado de melancolía y la necesidad de aferrarse a los seres queridos a través de algo tangible son el motor de Heme allí.
Territorios recorridos, cambios de residencia, gente que viene y va, que permanece o desaparece de nuestras vidas y que se materializan en forma de postal. Su imagen queda grabada en la mente y sus vidas en papel.
Heme allí expresa el ser y el estar. Movimiento, territorios, separación, distancias, lejanía, ausencia, conservación…
Personas que se conocen en distintos lugares y circunstancias y que ahora se encuentran separadas por el espacio (territorio) pero se mantienen unidas mediante el envío de postales.
A través de ellas cuentan sus vidas, sus historias, los lugares donde viven y donde pasan el tiempo.
Heme allí está compuesto por un video que nos muestra los viajes y los recorridos de algunos de los protagonistas donde se desvelan detalles de las imágenes de las postales recibidas, se muestran sus sellos y se leen los textos que cuentan las historias y los caminos marcados por sus remitentes.
Y por una postal y un sello creados a partir de la fusión de todas las postales y sellos recibidos a lo largo de los años. Las historias y los recorridos de personas ajenas entre sí se mezclan, teniendo un único nexo de unión: el destinatario.
Así, se fusionan en una nueva postal que nos muestra que a pesar de las distancias y el movimiento, estamos allí.
La postal y el sello resultantes han sido impresos y enviados por correo postal tradicional a cada uno de los protagonistas para recordarles que a pesar de todo, Heme allí.

Movement and immediacy are now part of everyday’s life, where we went from waiting weeks or even months to hear news from someone far away to be able to read about them in less than a second through a simple email or sms.
New technologies have made people less sensitive. We’ve lost warmness and the excitement that gives waiting for news of the loved ones through a letter or postcard.
We move and we get lost in immediacy, leaving behind the old ways and perhaps forgetting that maybe we could find in them that emotion that will make us the day.
This movement full of melancholy and the need to cling to loved ones through something tangible are the engine of «I’m there».
Traveled territories, residence changes, people coming and going, which remains or disappears from our lives and materialized as a postcard. Their image is imprinted in our minds and their lives on paper.
«I’m there» expresses the «being». Movement, territories, separation distances, remoteness, absence, conservation. People who meet in different places and circumstances and now are separated by space (territory) but are held together by sending postcards. Through them have their lives telled, their stories, where they live and where they spend time.
«I’m there» consists of a video that shows the journeys which reveal details of the images of postcards received, the poststamps and read the texts that tell the stories and paths marked by their senders. And a postcard and stamp created from the merge of all the postcards and stamps received over the years. The stories and the journeys, outsiders from each other, are mixed together having a unique nexus: the recipient. So, are merged into a new postcard that shows that despite the distances and movement, we’re there.
The resulting postcard and the poststamp has been printed and mailed to the senders to remind them that despite all, I am there.
